The Lawmate IP7W 1080P Covert Spy Camera looks like an external battery pack/case for your iPhone 6 or iPhone 7 (Phone not included). In actuality, it is a wifi enabled video recording system. You can place any iPhone 6 or 7 inside this case and use it as the wifi controller to run the camera. Unlike other covert surveillance cameras, while in use, all anyone will see is a functional smartphone. The iPhone does not require phone service and is not required to operate the IP7W. you can connect to the IP7W through any wifi-enabled device through the secured network connection on the IP7W.
With the ability of Wi-Fi connectivity, you can instantly review the footage you have captured on a smartphone or tablet, and you can live-stream the video content up to a distance of 5 meters. The Wi-Fi connectivity permits the user to download the captured content wirelessly. The Wi-Fi application also allows full control over the device, including resolution settings (1080p/720p/VGA), the ability to set and synchronize the time and date with your smart device, format the SD card, and start/stop recording. Once the device is set up, you can also ‘hide the SSID’ so no one else can find your IP7W key fob wirelessly.
The camera will capture 1080p HD video at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. A fully charged battery will provide 200 minutes of video and audio. The camera is also comes with a free 16 GB Micro SD card (supports up to a 32 GB card). The camera supports time and date stamping and produces Law Enforcement grade video.
